Dr Lau Kong Cheen
Dr Lau is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business, under the Marketing Programme. His key areas of interest and expertise is in brand management, digital marketing, business strategy and consumer behaviour.
Prior to joining SUSS, Dr Lau has spent more than 10 years in the industry with experience spanning across public and private sectors. He has had immense exposure in consulting, market research in consumer insights, business development and client marketing. He has consulted for clients from MNCs and SMEs in the region. As part of his consulting practice, he has also conducted multiple training workshops for many of his clients to help them to reflect and generate ideas based on concepts learnt. Dr Lau holds a PhD in Marketing from the Curtin University in Australia coupled with a MBA (with Distinction) from the University of Surrey (UK). Ms Jess Tan
Ms Jess Tan is a Senior Faculty and Lecturer in the School of Business Unit at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She has more than fifteen years of experience in data analysis and data mining. She had previously worked in the private and public sectors, leading and spearheading several analytics initiatives. Mr Chua Wei Lun
Mr Chua is the Head of Seller Engagement at Lazada Singapore. He is a passionate trainer with 8 years of training experience and has nearly 3 years of Commerce exposure in Lazada. He is also a pioneer in launching Lazada University Programmes in Singapore.
Dr Jimmy Wong
Dr Wong is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business. Prior to his academic career, Dr Wong worked for various corporations across a wide range of industries including FMCG, electronics, and pharmaceutical. His expertise in the area of sales and marketing management was developed during his employment at multinational companies such as Unilever and Johnson & Johnson. To enhance his skills, he pursued an MBA program at Nanyang Business School (NTU) in Singapore followed by a PhD in Consumer Research at the University of Illinois (USA). Since then, Dr Wong had lectured in different universities across the USA, Australia, and Singapore, and his research was published in various business journals including Journal of Services Research and the European Journal of Marketing. Now, lecturing in SUSS, he continues to participate in part-time consulting projects with local enterprises and adopts an industry-led approach in his classes. More Information >
