Work-Study Degree (WSDeg) For SUSS Full-time Undergraduates (Intake 2023 onwards)


What is it?

The SUSS Work-Study Degree (WSDeg) programme aims to provide students with a holistic and immersive learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Through a carefully designed curriculum and robust assessment process, students can acquire in-depth professional skills that are essential for their future careers.

With the completion of work-study, students can earn academic credit units (CUs) that will contribute to fulfilling their degree requirements. Ultimately, this program aims to nurture graduates who are career-ready and can contribute effectively and meaningfully to their respective industries.

 

Who is it for?

WSDeg is open to individuals who have been successfully matriculated in SUSS as full-time undergraduates in the following programmes:

  • Bachelor of Accountancy
  • Bachelor of Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics
  • Bachelor of Science in Finance
  • Bachelor of Science in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management

  • Acquire Practical Work Experience: WSDeg provides you with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience related to your field of study. This hands-on experience can enhance your understanding of theoretical concepts and enables you to apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios.   • Improved Job Prospects: WSDeg enhances your employability by providing a competitive edge in the job market. Graduates with practical work experience are often preferred by employers as they bring a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The WSDeg programmes can lead to full-time job offers from the employer with whom the student worked during their studies, providing a smooth transition into the workforce.
  • Course Credit: Upon successful completion of the WSDeg programme, you will receive 30 credit units (CUs) towards the fulfillment of your course of study.
