Social Sustainability Leadership Forum

Social Sustainability Leadership Forum (SSLF) 2024 is an inaugural youth forum initiated by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to underscore our commitment to social sustainability, encompassing resilience and inclusivity. The forum will use a holistic approach, through a 5 Day 4 Night program, to share the importance of social sustainability with University Student Leaders from all over the world.

Topics we will be exploring include:

  • Women Empowerment

  • Active Ageing

  • Mental Health and Well Being

  • Developmental Disability

  • Physical and Sensory Disability

Based on David Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory (1984), participants would experience and learn more about the different pillars and principles of Social Sustainability through specially curated workshops and activities. The programme also helps to facilitate a greater understanding of the regional issues through cultural exposure and develop traits to advocate for sustainable issues in their home communities.
