The SUSS Live Visualisation Challenge 2019 will be held on SUSS campus (463 Clementi Rd, Singapore 599494) on 12 September 2019 from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Registration can be made for teams of up to 4 students (no minimum number). Each team may comprise students from different educational institutions (one registration per team). The registration closes on Friday 30 August 2019 (11.59pm). You will receive an email acknowledging your registration. A confirmation email will be sent nearer to 12 September 2019 to the Team Leader.
A notebook is required as installation of Tableau will be needed to facilitate the learning.
What happens on the event day (12 September 2019)?
On the event day, a workshop on how to build a dashboard using Tableau in a business context will be conducted from 10.30am to 12.30pm (registration starts at 8.45am). Lunch will be provided after the workshop. Participants will be given an hour after lunch to work on their own dashboard for a business context based on the dataset provided. Prize presentation will take place from 4pm.
The dashboard will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Format and Style of Dashboard
- Clarity and Coherence
- Creativity
