Synopsis

PSI202 Correctional Counselling and Guidance focuses on the foundations of correctional interventions and treatments. Students are exposed to the theoretical frameworks and techniques to help justice-involved individuals to achieve meaningful behavioural changes and supporting them in re-integrating into the society. The aim of this course is to equip students with the basic knowledge and counselling skills to be agents of change to work effectively with their clients.
