CHS104 systematically explores Chinese characters, vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric, phonology, etc, of the Classical Chinese language. Students will read masterpieces of ancient Chinese philosophy and literature, equipping themselves with the ability to read ancient Chinese texts for the exploration of China's distinctive philosophical and literary traditions in the original language.
