Synopsis

MSM501 Contemporary Topics in Business and Social Development of Singapore comprises a series of workshops offered by the School of Business. This course aims to help students develop a good understanding of Singapore’s current political and economic system, challenges as well as opportunities in its social and business development. This course helps students keep pace with the critical changes in Singapore’s economic, financial, and technological landscapes. Through this course, students would be able to appreciate the differences in culture, consumer behaviors and entrepreneurship, as well as Singapore’s competitive advantages in international trade, innovation, and sustainability.
