Essentials of Social Entrepreneurship and Application in Singapore's Context (SOE501)

Synopsis

SOE501 Essentials of Social Entrepreneurship and Application in Singapore’s Context aims to immerse students in a discourse about the concept of social entrepreneurship and its relevance in current and future context of Singapore. Students will also be introduced to seven elements of social entrepreneurship to achieve organisational excellence, a model proposed by Ang (2022). An important part of this module is to introduce students to the key social issues and social policies in Singapore. The knowledge from this course will provide a good foundation for students to build on as they proceed with the rest of the social entrepreneurship programme.
