Welcome to Assessment Resources

This site is designed to inform assessment practices of faculty and associate faculty at SUSS.

Assessment: Why should we care?

Assessment defines what students regard as important, how they spend their time, and how they come to see themselves as students and then as graduates.
- Brown & Knight, 2012, p.12

Assessment plays a crucial role in shaping students’ educational experience and subsequent learning outcomes. Thus, improving assessment practices can positively influence student learning (Sambell et al., 2012).
