Graduate Studies



  • Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
  • For SUSS graduate programmes that are conducted in the English Language, if  your undergraduate degree is not awarded by an English-medium university, or, your undergraduate degree is awarded by an English-medium university but the language of instruction was not English, 

you must meet the English Language Proficiency Requirement (ELPR) with at least an:

  • IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5
  • TOEFL score of 580 (paper-based) or 85 (internet-based)
  • PTE Academic score of 58
  • C1 Advanced score of 180 [score must be obtained within the last 2 years at point of application]
  • MUET score of a Band 4 [score must be obtained within the last 5 years at point of application]

Each e-application must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee which is payable online only.

  • Singapore Citizen & Permanent Resident - $60 (subject to prevailing GST)
  • All other applicants - $100* (subject to prevailing GST)

Shortlisted applicants may be required to undergo one or more interviews and/or take written admission or other evaluation tests as may be prescribed by SUSS.

All applications are considered individually on merit, and the offer of admission is dependent on the number of places available in individual programmes. 

You will receive notification of your application status via email.

  • For January intake, the notification will be sent out by end November.
  • For July intake, by end May.

*Admission is solely at the discretion of SUSS and the decision is final and binding. SUSS reserves the right to refuse admission and is not obliged to offer an explanation for the non-admission of unsuccessful candidates.

 

Deposit Payment

Successful applicants who have been offered a place in our graduate programme from the July 2024 intake onwards will be required to make a non-refundable deposit of S$2,000 (inclusive of prevailing GST) upon acceptance of the Final Offer (FO) from SUSS.

The deposit will be used to offset the course fees for the first semester’s billing. More details regarding course registration and course payment will be shared in the Acceptance of Offer (AOO) email which will be sent to new students by 15 June or 30 November for the July and January intakes respectively.

Digital Student Card

Please download the SUSS Backpack app on your mobile phone to access your digital student card upon your enrolment as a student. All SUSS students must produce this digital student card when taking the examinations.

Orientation

Other Information on Tution Fees

View the General Information on SUSS's Tuition Fees, concessions and policies From July 2022 semester, all new graduate programme students who are Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents or other residents will pay an annual miscellaneous fee of $20.00 (subject to prevailing GST). The miscellaneous fee consists of items such as CLASS copyright licensing fees, computer fees, student card, etc. There may be additional items that are not covered by the tuition fees. These could include items such as additional recommended textbooks, resit examination fee, etc.

Fee Payment Procedures
Students will be sent the bill for course fee payment (and other additional fees, if applicable) at the start of each semester. You will usually be given about 1-2 weeks to pay the fees.

 

SSG Funding
Selected courses in some graduate programmes fall under the SkillsFuture Series funding, and students who take these SkillsFuture courses may enjoy fee subsidies (for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only).
