SUSS, in collaboration with Great Eastern, conducted a study to uncover the changing pattern of behaviour and perceptions of Singaporean youths due to the influence of social media and technology. The study aims to understand their views on topics such as financial planning/goals, education and employment, and the impact of digital communications on youth behaviour, personal beliefs and principles.
The study, which was conducted from March to October 2021, surveyed over 2,000 Gen Z Singaporeans aged between 16 and 25 years old – the first generation who grew up in the digital age.
