  • Log in to Student Portal.
  • Click on “E-Services” on the left menu.
  • Click on “Event Service Online” in Student eService.
  • Click on the “Event ID” of the specific workshop you wish to register for.

Synopsis 

This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the exciting field of generative AI and provide hands-on experience utilising ChatGPT for higher education learning. In this interactive workshop, participants will develop an understanding of generative AI, including its principles and applications, explore the key capabilities of ChatGPT, and how these can be leveraged to enrich their learning journey. Participants will also learn about the limitations of ChatGPT. Participants will learn how to write effective ChatGPT prompts to generate ideas for writing, generate summaries, do project planning, improve their work, and employ ChatGPT as a learning companion. Ethical considerations and the responsible use of generative AI will also be emphasized.

Notes

  • Limited to 35 participants per session
  • Students can sign up for either one of the sessions
  • Participants are required to create a ChatGPT account prior to the workshop. They are also required to bring their laptops to the workshop.
