Measuring the Effectiveness of Service-Learning TAs in...

Since 2013, the Lingnan University, has launched the Service-Learning Teaching Assistants (SLTA) programme, a unique undergraduate teaching assistant model in Hong Kong, in which provides training to selected undergraduate students to be SLTAs. They offer high quality support to faculty and also coordinating Service-Learning responsibilities and mentoring the students in Service-Learning projects. Since its launch, SLTAs are highly appreciated by all stakeholders (including students, faculty members, community partners and Service-Learning coordinators).
