Poverty Alleviation in East Sumba: The Community Service...
The project addressed to encourage changes in women's paradigm and behavior for reducing poverty, as well as strengthening economic resilience through the student community service. This student community service held by Wira Wacana University (WWU). The implementation of community service learning creates closeness between the university and the community through the role of their students. Understanding on gender perspective is the key to alleviate poverty in Sumba. This should be initiated from students, lecturers, government officials, and households.
