NCSS–NAK 360 Panel Research

Overview

The School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences at SUSS, in collaboration with the National Council of Social Service and The Ngee Ann Kongsi, is conducting a longitudinal survey to assess the experiences, activities and well-being of all residents in 1,000 Singaporean households.

Study Details

The annual survey, conducted yearly over 3 years, will examine the time-use of Singaporeans and how it is related to their well-being and quality of life.

The study is a household panel study of over 3,000 Singaporeans across 1,000 households. All participants will be interviewed face to face on their daily activities and experiences.

The longitudinal study also documents change over 3 years, quantifying economic conditions such as employment alongside contribution/value beyond monetary terms such as caregiving, social support and intergeneration transfers.

At present, the first wave has been completed. Reports and findings will be published here at a later date.
