The SUSS Competition Groups (CG) provide students with opportunities to participate in varsity, national and international competitions as a means to enhance their college experience and develop holistically as leaders.
With the support of SUSS Student Life, students in SUSS CGs manage and lead their respective groups from the initial setup to training for competitions to organising sporting events for the community. Through their participation in SUSS CGs, students gain experience in the areas of group organisation, problem-solving, budgeting, time management and non-profit governance.
Students may be involved in these competition groups:
- Local Inter-Varsity, Tertiary Sports Competitions such as Singapore University Games, and Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic Games
- Overseas Sports Competitions, such as Asean University Games, World University Games, and World University Championships
