Synopsis

BSE208 Psychology of Sport and Exercise provides an introductory overview of the psychological theories and principles that influence participation and performance in sport and exercise contexts. Students will learn key concepts such as personality, motivation, feedback mechanisms, character development, exercise and well-being, exercise adherence, athletic injuries, and unhealthy behaviours. Students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to apply evidence-based psychological strategies in various sport and exercise settings.
