Synopsis

The purpose of the practicum is 3-fold: 1. To provide students with the opportunity to work psychodynamically with clients. 2. To give students a structured reflective space through regular supervision. 3. To provide personal therapy for experiential learning as well as for students to work through some of their personal issues. The practicum will be taught at CGH. Students will meet weekly for small group supervision followed by group therapy over 2 semesters. MCOU Student in the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Specialisation will attend COU692 in lieu of COU608 Supervised Practicum.
