Synopsis

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted that procurement and supply management is crucial to ensure the operational continuity of businesses and economies. LOG304 Procurement and Supply Management in the Digital Era gives insight on how procurement and supply management impacts the competitive success of organisations and the supply chain in a rapidly digitalised world. The course explores digital tools as well as risk management, contractual, legal, ethical and sustainability issues in procurement. Students will learn how to make effective procurement and supply decisions to manage the vulnerability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of the supply chain in the new normal.
