Synopsis

MTH109 Calculus introduces students to the study of limits, continuity, differential calculus and integral calculus in one variable. Students will be exposed to computational techniques in evaluating limits, derivatives, integrals. Applications of this course include optimisation, calculating areas between curves and volumes of cylindrical shells.
