Synopsis

Students will acquire in-depth knowledge about different mental health disorders occurring in children and adolescents. They will learn to apply internationally recognised classification systems to accurately diagnose mental health disorders in children and adolescents. In learning the different theoretical frameworks, students will learn to critically appraise the literature, and formulate evidence-based interventions for each disorder. This course will guide students in learning how to formulate, diagnose, and plan interventions.
