This is a series of seminars and workshops aimed at preparing students for their first social work practicum, as well as to review students’ progress during their practicum. Students are expected to reflect, process, analyse and discuss their experiences working in the agencies they have been placed. It is aimed at integrating theories and knowledge gained in other courses with students’ practice experience in their practicum. In the seminars, students are expected to share their experience to enable cross-learning from diverse social work contexts and environments. Students are expected to show evidence of how they have integrated the theories and values of social work in practice.
