Synopsis

Eldercare is a course that will cover the various aspects of ageing and experiences of older persons that may be of concern. Prime importance will be given to health-related issues and caregiving responsibilities and resources. The ageing process and its consequences as well as the accompanying psycho-social implications will be covered to prepare the student to manage eldercare competently when confronted with them.
