Synopsis

Advanced Clinical Practice I: Working with Individuals presents the basic principles and concepts of clinical work, including the systematic study and differential assessment of human problems in urban societies. Interventions using integrated models of practice with individuals are covered in this course. The emphasis is on assessment and intervention based on several major theories of human behaviour and social work practice including cognitive-behavioural, psycho-dynamic and systems constructs.
