The 2-day workshop in Singapore aims to provide a comprehensive framework and actionable tools for immediate implementation, addressing key challenges and decision-making processes. It combines the shared experiences of facilitators who have worked with business families as family advisers with insights into legacy planning and succession matters for business families.
The workshop emphasises the importance of gaining invaluable insights from seasoned professionals in the family business field and reflecting on the learnings and insights gained from the workshop.

Learning Outcomes
A. Knowledge and Understanding (Theory Component)
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- The workshop, led by practicing family advisors and consultants, centers on identifying actionable takeaways for immediate implementation and long-term planning in family businesses. It incorporates a blend of well-documented research and practical insights.
- Emphasis is placed on tools for sustaining a healthy family, such as the Family Balance Sheet and qualitative capital assessment, to preserve and enhance family wealth across generations.
B. Key Skills (Practical Component)
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Highlighted are strategies for improving family relations and communication, along with understanding and implementing governance structures, for continuity and unity within the family business.
- A key component of the workshop insights is responsible ownership, including educating family owners and addressing ownership succession challenges.
- The workshop provides strategies for reflecting on learnings, navigating complex family dynamics, and developing implementation strategies within the family business.

Course Fee

Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
