How to access Zoom for your virtual class

Please refer to the infographic to find out more information about joining an online lesson via Zoom.
All students will be given an account to access the SUSS Student Portal. The Student Portal contains useful information such as your timetable, examination results and course registration information. Please log in regularly for information updates and announcements.

Please click
here for the Student Portal User Guide.

You may also view a video regarding navigating through the Student Portal
here.

Printed course materials will be distributed to students locally through courier delivery. Out of goodwill, the initial delivery charges for the first and second attempts will be covered by SUSS, while any additional re-delivery requests will be arranged and payable by the students. Courier service application will be open soon (date to be confirmed) and students can start to apply once they have made their course fee payment or e-confirm their courses. More details will be posted in the Student Portal under News and Notices.

Kindly note that progressively more courses at SUSS have adopted the use of eTextbooks. If your course is using the eTextbook, no physical textbook will be issued. Please refer to your Content Checklist for information on whether the course(s) you are enrolled in is/are using eTextbook(s). Find out more information about eTextbooks.

For Part-time Courses, most sessions will commence from Monday, 13 January 2024.

All updates on timetables will be communicated to students via the Student Portal. You are advised to log in to the portal regularly and before each class to check for the latest information.

All sessions groupings are allocated by the system in a random order. We regret that any request to change will not be accepted. Failure to stay in the allocated group will result in difficulty in submitting your assignments.

There will be either online pre-class, pre-course or both pre-class and pre-course quizzes scheduled for some courses as part of the course requirements. Please note that these quizzes are graded and that some of the quizzes will be scheduled in Week 0 with reference to the Academic Calendar. You are advised to complete the quiz by the stipulated deadline. Please access Canvas for more details before the semester commences.

Students will be required to always carry their Student ID or any valid photo ID when attending classes at SUSS. Students may be asked to produce evidence to verify their student identity by either the instructors or SUSS staff. This is required for admittance to class and class attendance marking.
