Established in 2019 by the SUSS EMP Alumni, the SUSS–EMP Alumni Entrepreneurship Award recognises and honours SUSS graduating students who have demonstrated highly commendable entrepreneurial attributes, such as leadership qualities, self-initiation, self-motivation, high level of energy, high level of self-confidence and courage, and resilience after experiencing failures. One of the inaugural recipients of the award is Mr Kaesang Pangarep, Class of 2019, son of Mr Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia.
The EMP Alumni comprise of business leaders who are passionate about lifelong learning, and building a culture of entrepreneurship among today's university students.
