SUSS Gerontology Research Seminars Series:
Improving Population Health for Older Persons – Research Opportunities for Social Prescribing and Intergenerational Care

An ecological approach is impetus to caring for an ageing population. Interventions like social prescribing, intergeneration care and dementia caregiving support hold the potential to reduce social isolation, and improve patients’ outcomes and caregivers’ quality of life post-discharge. We aim to understand key stakeholders’ needs prior to developing and investigating the efficacy of these interventions through various research projects across different SingHealth institutions and our partner organizations.

This seminar seeks to increase research opportunities between SUSS and various SingHealth institutions, to co-creating solutions and evaluating their real-world applicability.
