Great leaders are adept at building relationships based on trust. They also have the ability to win over the hearts and minds of people. In this module, we will discuss how to build trust and collaboration in the workplace, as well as hone your influencing skills. You will also be given a toolkit that you can use to persuade and influence others.

Lim Poh GuanMr Lim Poh Guan is the Managing Consultant of the Leadership Performance Group, a firm specialising in Leadership Development. Since 1998, he has worked with numerous companies across the Asia-Pacific region to design and deliver leadership development, talent management and change management programs. Poh Guan has served as Senior Vice President of Talent & Organization Development at UOB Bank

Registration Guide

Step 1: Login to Alumni Portal
Step 2: Click on 'E-Services' at the side bar
Step 3: Allow pop up windows as 'E-Services' will open as a pop up
Step 4: Click on 'Alumni Event Registration'
Step 5: Search for your event in the calendar of events. Do note that there are multiple pages.* Events are organized alphabetically. 

* Please actively search for your event to register. Events that are open for registration will be displayed. Events that are closed for registration will not be displayed.

We understand there may be times when an unforeseen emergency occurs and you may not be able to attend the webinar. Should you need to withdraw your registration, please do so before 26 February 2021. This allows time for other alumni who may be on the waiting list to join the session. Should there be a no show without informing us in advance, you will not be given priority to join our other complimentary events in future.

Notes

  • Event will not run if minimum sign-up is not met.
  • Alumnus is to present their NRIC/photo ID on event day for verification purposes. Guests who are not accompanied by SUSS alumnus will not be allowed to join the event.
  • Please be advised that filming and/or photography will be taking place at this event. If you do not wish to appear in any images, please let the organiser know so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure that you are not included. The photographs/film will be used by Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) for publicity purposes. They may also be included in SUSS publications or in SUSS promotional materials and may also be published on the SUSS website and social media channels.

Terms and Conditions

  • SUSS reserves the rights to use/publish any photos taken at our events on corporate marketing materials or for publicity purposes.
  • Our events are highly subsidised and we have limited capacity. Failure to turn up for an event will deprive a fellow alumnus enjoying the benefit. We greatly appreciate your participation and thank you in advance for joining us.
  • Once your registration is confirmed, no cancellation or refund would be allowed.
  • SUSS reserves the right to make changes to the event without prior notice.
  • Complimentary or free gifts, if any, are on a while stocks last basis.
  • All information is accurate at the time of publishing.
