About the Event

The SUSS Analytics and Visualisation Challenge 2023 (AVC23) welcomes participation of A’levels, International Baccalaureate, and Polytechnic Diploma students.

In this year’s challenge, you will be invited to attend a data visualisation training at SUSS on 13 September 2023. The training will cover the basic concepts and hands-on applications of data visualisation tools and will provide you with the skills to work on a data visualisation project in your respective teams.  Upon completing the training, a dataset and problem statement will be released to the participants. Over the course of one week, you will be required to apply the data visualisation skills you have learned from the training to solve the problem and create a dashboard for the challenge.

All teams will attend the final challenge on Wednesday 20 September 2023 to present their work, subject to a submission before specified deadline. Provisional admissions into the SUSS School of Business, full-time Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics programme, subject to terms and conditions, may be offered to selected and eligible participants. Attractive prizes are also to be won by the winning teams of AVC23. All teams attending the final challenge on 20 September 2023 will receive a certificate recognising their achievements.
