The International Conference on Chinese Language and Culture (ICCLC) is initiated by Beijing Normal University, The National Chinese Association of China and Hanyang University (South Korea). The international meeting has been held for 21 years at various cities in five countries, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Bloomington and Madison. It has become a major conference for scholars around the world working on various aspects of Chinese Language and Culture. The 22nd International Conference on Chinese Language and Culture is hosted by the School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences, Singapore University of Social Sciences. This year's conference theme is "Coexist and Evolve: New perspectives of Language Policy and Language Diversity".
Established in January 2012, the Centre for Chinese Studies, Singapore University of Social Sciences (CCS@SUSS) aims to raise awareness and understanding of the Chinese language, culture, and contemporary Chinese society through its programmes, courses, research, publications and events/activities. Within the University, CCS@SUSS serves as a one-stop resource centre that monitors recent trends and developments in the wider Chinese-speaking world. This allows the University to make necessary adjustments to its curriculum and academic activities, and keep it at the forefront of the field.
Book Launch: "Diversity and Unity: Language and Society in Singapore": This book discusses the language planning and policy, bilingual education policy, family language changes, monolingual and multilingual literacy rates and labor competitiveness, and promotion of the Chinese language movement since the founding of Singapore. Co-written by Professor Eddie Kuo and Associate Professor Luo Futeng.
中国语言与文化国际学术研讨会 (ICCLC) 是由北京师范大学、韩国汉阳大学等亚太地区十多所大学发起并主办的大型国际学术会议。举办研讨会的宗旨，为的是推动该地区中华语言与文化、语言与社会、语言结构与变迁等课题的研究，加强相关领域的专家和青年学者的国际学术交流。目前这一研讨会每年举办一次。先后在中国（北京、上海、成都、厦门、天津、长沙、澳门等）、韩国（首尔等）、美国（伯明顿、麦迪逊等）多地成功举办了二十一届国际学术研讨会。
新跃中华学术中心成立于2012年1月，中心的成立，旨在于通过研究、出版、文化或学术活动以及相关课程来提升社会大众对中华语言、文化及社会的认识和了解。新跃中华学术中心同时也密切关注华人世界的重要发展及趋势，并以此向大学方面提出相关课程在教学方向及学术活动之建言，使新跃社科大学在相关领域中具前沿之视野。
新书发布会《多元和统一：新加坡的语言与社会》：该书就新加坡建国以来的语言政策规划、双语教育政策、家庭语言变迁、单语文、多语文识字率与劳动力竞争力、推广华语运动等重要课题，展开分析和论证，系新加坡语言与社会最新的研究成果。该书系郭振羽和罗福腾共同完成。
