Recently, four students from the SUSS AI Interest Group (SUSS AI-IG) attended the highly anticipated, ATxInspire: National AI Student Developer Conference. Bringing together the brightest young minds in AI, this conference was a collaboration between AI Singapore (AISG) and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).
Representing SUSS AI-IG was a diverse and passionate team featuring Chung Wei Tat (SUSS Finance student), Mok Lin Jiang (SUSS Information and Communication Technology student), Lau Qian Tong (SUSS Mathematics student) and Calista Liew (SUSS Human Resource Management student). They presented at the conference for the prestigious National AI Student Challenge (NAISC) under the Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) Track.

The team's innovative idea, a legal contract reviewer, is designed to assist individuals in making informed decisions when reviewing contracts. By providing concise summaries and interpreting specific terms, this application empowers users to navigate complex agreements confidently, helping them avoid misinterpretations and unfair terms. This tool showcases the team's commitment to enhancing accessibility and understanding in legal matters.

Amidst fierce competition, the SUSS team shone brightly, clinching a remarkable second place. The top three teams were rewarded with coveted internships at AISG, providing them with invaluable industry experience and skill development opportunities.
