At SUSS, we believe in building a dynamic, inclusive and learning society. Every year, SUSS School of Business supports AWWA, a social service agency whose mission is to empower the disadvantaged, maximising their potential to lead independent and dignified lives. This year, we kicked off our school’s teambuilding activities with a visit to the AWWA Day Care Dementia Centre in Ang Mo Kio. Our faculty members entertained the elderly with a game of Bingo and delivered care packs for everyone. The smiles on the faces of the elderly warmed our hearts and brightened up everybody’s day!

SUSS prepared and distributed 125 care packs to the elderly from the Dementia and Rehabilitation centres. These care parks included daily necessities needed by the beneficiaries, including biscuits, sachet beverages, medicated oil and plasters.

Dr Jess Tan Wei Chin, SUSS Senior Business Analytics Lecturer, shared: “This was a very humbling experience and I learned to treasure the many things that we have taken for granted.”
We look forward to giving continuous support to our beneficiaries like AWWA!
