“Remember that learning does not stop upon graduation. If you stop learning, you will stop growing.“ - Professor Cheong Hee Kiat, President of SUSS, advising the new batch of students graduating from SUSS to carry on the spirit of lifelong learning.
Prof Cheong and two colleagues were interviewed by SPH Radio Station Money FM89.3, in an Outdoor Broadcast event held on campus on Oct 4 (Fri). During his interview, Prof Cheong shared how SUSS stands out from other autonomous universities, the need to focus on overseas experience, application of skills, and how SUSS is in a good position to contribute to Singapore’s growth and well-being. He also took this opportunity to congratulate the students graduating next week.
Meirlin Gunawan, Deputy Head (Office of Service-Learning & Community Engagement), spoke on experiential learning, student outreach programmes and community engagement, while Dr Wang Yue, Head, Doctor of Business Administration Programme, School of Business (SBIZ), was interviewed on how the digital age has changed consumer behaviour.
