SUSS SEALS' Project MindsCraft was a heartwarming initiative that brought together individuals with intellectual disabilities (PWIDs) and dedicated volunteers. Over three months, this project created a space for joy, creativity, and inclusion.
Through a series of engaging activities, such as Zumba, friendship bracelet making, eco-friendly tote bag crafting, and cookie decorating, participants were encouraged to express themselves and connect with others. Each activity was carefully adapted to meet the diverse needs of the PWIDs, fostering a sense of accomplishment and belonging.
The project culminated in a joyous carnival, featuring modified games designed to be inclusive and fun for all. The carnival celebrated the achievements of the participants and showcased the power of community.
