Ho Yuan Yi, a Full-Time Year 1 Finance Student from SUSS, was one of the nine awardees of this year's Singapore Valley Awards (SVA). The SVA is an annual nation-wide entrepreneurship award that offers students, with the most compelling business ideas, a fully-sponsored internship in China to acquire deeper knowledge of the China market and entrepreneurship in practice.
Yuan Yi's winning proposal involves using Artificial Intelligence to provide people of vulnerable communities with access to financial services. He will be embarking on his overseas internship journey at Kingnet in China this May. In an interview with Lianhe Zaobao, he shared that he wishes to translate what he will learn during his internship stint to serve the community in the form of entrepreneurship.
Congratulations, Yuan Yi! We look forward to your future endeavours! Like Yuan Yi, if you have an entrepreneurial idea to share, drop us an email at [email protected] and we'll be more than happy to help develop your idea!
