Step into the lens of SUSS Production Interest Group (PDIG) as they hosted an unforgettable Photowalk at the scenic Punggol Waterway Park. Far beyond a mere photo session, this gathering seamlessly merged creative exploration with community engagement, drawing photography enthusiasts from SUSS to delve into a landscape ripe with picturesque opportunities.
Participants are all smiles with the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
Participants journeyed through various scenic locations within the park, including Jewel Bridge, known for its stunning sunsets and diverse wildlife, Sunrise Gateway and Red Bridge, which offered breathtaking views of boardwalks and bridges. The Water Aeration and Eco-Drain, along with the Recreation Zone and Watersports Promenade, also provided unique opportunities to capture waterworks and biodiversity, as well as offered a glimpse into Singapore’s community spirit.
Kudos to the student facilitators who played a pivotal role in enriching the experience, offering guidance on photography techniques, composition and lighting. Their insights helped all participants, from novices to seasoned photographers, enhance their skills and perspectives.

Sneha Angelin, SUSS Year 1 Marketing student, shared, “As someone who gravitates towards taking urban portraits, this Photowalk allowed me to indulge in a new genre of photography. The event's collaborative atmosphere also enabled me to connect easily with fellow enthusiasts through their shared passion for capturing stunning photos. Overall, I am pleased with what PDIG had prepared for its photography enthusiasts and am eager to join future events to further develop my photography skills.”

At the end of the Photowalk, participants gathered for a debrief session to share their photographs and learning experiences. Apart from showcasing the wide range of talents and creativity among the group, a sense of achievement and fellowship were cultivated among the participants.
