SUSS Competitive Archery has had a successful run in the competitive circuit this year, bringing back one individual silver medal and two individual bronze medals so far.Samuel won the individual silver medal in the knockout rounds in the Recurve Intermediate category from the NTU Institutional Archery Championship, which was held from 10-11 March 2018.Hosted by Nanyang Technological University, NTU IAC is one of the main outdoor competitions for the institutional competitive circuit in Singapore, with universities, polytechnics and ITEs all competing together.Pei Wei has brought back individual bronze medals in the ranking rounds in the Recurve Open category for both the institutional and challenge categories from the NUS Indoors Archery Championship. Attended by clubs and societies from not only Singapore, but including other South-East Asian countries, it is one of the most prominent competitions in the archery scene in Singapore and is held annually by the NUS Archery Club.While competing, Samuel and Pei Wei both focused on trying their best. SUSS Competitive Archery wants to be recognized as a formidable force in the Singapore archery scene. The team hopes that more people will join them to enjoy the sport, and also join the competitive team in order to clinch the Challenge trophies for both the NTU and NUS Championships.SUSS Competitive Archery can be reached at [email protected] if you are interested in joining them.
