SUSS, in partnership with Galaxy Holdings, conducted its inaugural Leadership & Management Masterclass on 28-29 May 2018 in Shenzhen, China. The Masterclass was conducted for participants from the Galaxy Industry Alliance (GIA) and Galaxy Holdings.
The Masterclass, curated by Specialists from the SUSS Offices of Career Development and Service-Learning, was attended by more than 50 participants who are founders and leaders of SMEs and start-ups in the GIA, who are keen to explore topics relating to leadership, employee motivation, and succession planning.

The second session held on May 29 was designed as a workshop segment within Galaxy Holdings’ employee training programme for managerial and management-level employees. Amongst the trainees were, Mr Wu Mengku, Vice General Manager, Industrial Development Center, Galaxy Industry Group, and Mr Chen Zhao Zhao, Executive Assistant to President of Galaxy Industry Group. More than 50 Galaxy Holdings employees attended the training onsite and live feeds were provided for those who were stationed at other locations.

The Masterclass was packed with engaging and interactive activities which formed part of experiential learning. The participants also benefitted from the sharing by a guest speaker, Mr Lussen Lu, General Manager of Nexans LAN Cable & System Business, APAC region, who shared his experience in the Masterclass.
