Elicia Seah, a full-time student from the programme, was awarded the Deloitte Intern of the Week award recently. The Intern of the Week award recognises interns who perform exceptionally well and display exemplary teamwork throughout their internship period at Deloitte.

Supporting the Audit & Assurance department, Elicia displayed great teamwork, ability to work independently and delivered high-quality results. She also went the extra mile and provided support to the Engagement team and fellow interns, and was often commended by her supervisors, colleagues, and audit clients alike.

One of the key takeaways of her internship at Deloitte was that she managed to gain greater exposure and understanding of the accounting industry, where she could bring theory from the classroom into practice.

Elicia also added, "The team has been very helpful in providing me guidance at work. While we are outside of work, my team members will also share with me useful life advice. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with my team, of whom I will miss most about Deloitte."
The internship is part of the compulsory Work Attachment (WA), which full-time students have to complete as part of their graduation requirements. Spanning a period of 24 weeks, the Work Attachment provides students with an opportunity to bring work experience into the classroom, and to expose them to their industry's work environment
