Founded by Valen Tan, an SUSS Bachelor of Social Work graduate, and Duygu Sahin, an SUSS General Studies student, Social Gifting emerged stronger from the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022. Since then, the company has expanded its operations, secured funding and established itself as a respected provider of corporate gifting solutions. This success underscores Social Gifting's ability to thrive in a competitive market while remaining dedicated to its core values of social responsibility and community enrichment.

Beyond business success, Social Gifting has actively engaged students from SUSS and SMU in community projects that promote social good and deepen understanding of societal issues. By mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs and integrating individuals with special needs into its workforce, Social Gifting not only values diverse perspectives but also champions workplace inclusivity.
