Founded on 1 September 1963, IPB University (previously known as Bogor Agricultural University) is the only higher education institute in Indonesia that has priorities to enhance food security, innovate in bioenergy, develop socio-techno entrepreneurship, reduce poverty, and to preserve environment. In line with its tagline, “Inspiring Innovation with Integrity in Agriculture, Ocean and Biosciences for Sustainable World", IPB University produces innovations with a nationally and internationally acknowledged quality.
Since 2008, IPB has been the most innovative university in Indonesia based on assessment from the Business Innovation Center – Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Indonesia in Indonesia’s Most Prospective Innovation. IPB concerns on quality higher education is crucial for adding value to our world.
On 2 January 2020, IPB University and SUSS signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on exchange visits in overseas experiential studies, summer or study abroad programmes and joint initiatives.
