SUSS creates strong reciprocal partnerships with government agencies to jointly advance our missions and work that focus on community development and social change.
HomeTeamNS was formed on 1 April 2005 through the integration of the Singapore Police Association for National Servicemen and the Civil Defence Association for National Servicemen. The association recognises the invaluable contributions made by Police and Civil Defence NSmen to the safety and security of the nation, and aims to build a greater sense of camaraderie and bonding among them.
On 1 August 2007, SUSS launched a bond-free education sponsorship programme with HomeTeamNS to further the cause of promoting lifelong learning and upgrading. This programme is open to HomeTeamNS ordinary members who meet SUSS’ admission requirements, and will cover part of the course fees in SUSS' undergraduate programmes. A new MOU was signed on 24 September 2016 to renew the sponsorship.
