SUSS creates strong reciprocal partnerships with government agencies to jointly advance our missions and work that focus on community development and social change.
SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It will drive and coordinate the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, promote a culture and holistic system of lifelong learning through the pursuit of skills mastery, and strengthen the ecosystem of quality education and training in Singapore.
On 19 July 2017, SUSS received a letter of acceptance from SSG for course fee grants and curriculum development grant to the “SkillsFuture for Digital Workplace” course. Shortly thereafter, SSG also appointed SUSS for development and delivery of CET programmes in support of SkillsFuture; as well as to collaborate on the Profession Conversion Programme which aims to encourage companies to hire local displaced PMETs/PMETs looking for mid-career switch.
