The Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) is a non-profit, non-political organisation that aims to connect law students from all corners of Asia. As an organisation that includes 16 national chapters, ALSA has been a melting pot for law students from various cultures. ALSA has grown to become Asia's leading student-run organisation, with over 14,000 members representing Asia's top universities.
ALSA Singapore aims to promote dialogue with practitioners to expose law students to the realities of legal practice and enhance the capabilities of law students to become internationally-minded, socially responsible, academically committed and legally skilled. With our international events, ALSA Singapore seeks to provide our law students the opportunities to understand and appreciate the diversity across Asian legal systems through interaction and exchanging perspectives with law students across Asia.
SUSS and ALSA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 16 Jan 2019 to collaborate and provide SUSS students with exposure and experiences both in Singapore and internationally through ALSA's network. SUSS students are welcome to participate in events held within the network such as local events, cross-border internships, study trips and regional conferences.
