The primary goal of this programme is to support working professionals in enhancing their Chinese language skills and gaining in-depth knowledge of Chinese linguistics, literature, history, and culture. The Chinese literature segment covers the evolution of literary works from classical to modern pieces, and the language courses provide students with comprehensive understanding of Chinese pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and characters. By completing this programme, students will acquire the necessary skills and competencies for a rewarding and successful career.

Students can pursue Chinese Studies as a single major or in combination with a Minor.The Chinese Studies programme offers a Minor in Chinese Language and Culture and a Minor in Chinese Literature.

中文学士学位

中文学士学位课程旨在为对中华语言文学有兴趣的在职人士提供自我进修的机会，进一步提高学员们的教育水平与华文水准，同时培养学员们的华文文学鉴赏能力。此课程也为本地非大学毕业教师提供一个自我提升的机会。

本课程属部分时间学习制。采用开放式学习的概念及业余学习的方式。学员可以灵活安排学习时间、地点和进度，并且根据自身情况决定修读科目的数量。所有教材的设计也都是以此为基础，精心设计，以满足成人学员的要求。

普通学位需要修满130个学分。学员可选择主修中文与任一副修或自由选修课相结合。中文课程提供了中华语言与文化，以及中华文学两个副修选项。
