Safety and security is a concern for all. From terror attacks to industrial espionage and politically motivated cyber-attacks, the world is experiencing multiple security threats that are complex and hard to detect and defend. Recognising these challenges, governments and businesses agree they need highly trained professionals to deliver effective security outcomes. This undergraduate degree programme aims to meet this demand and professionalize the emerging field of public safety and security.
This part-time programme provides not only theoretical knowledge but also training in intervention strategies in the area of policing, emergency management, investigation, rehabilitation, crime reduction and terrorism.
