The Thailand International Bowling Competition was a dynamic challenge that pushed the team to new heights. The open category spanned four days, featuring intense matches, rigorous training sessions, and ample opportunities for cultural exchange. The team skilfully navigated unfamiliar lane conditions and oil patterns, adapting their equipment, refining techniques, and demonstrating exceptional mental resilience. These experiences highlighted the team’s ability to excel under pressure.
The Thailand Open is a prestigious international bowling tournament that attracts top bowlers from all over the world.
The competition also served as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange. The team’s randomly assigned lane partners offered opportunities to connect with bowlers from different countries, sharing techniques, and forging lasting international friendships. It was a powerful reminder of the unifying nature of sports, where each strike not only brings participants closer to victory but also closer to one another. Kreistel Angelica Teo Ying Qing, SUSS Marketing Year 4 Student adds, “Bowling with world-class bowlers from all over the world was such an enriching experience”.
