This Human Resource Management (HRM) degree is the only one offered by an autonomous university in Singapore. Designed and developed by practitioners and academics in consultation with the industry, the programme aims to produce competent professionals grounded in business and with specific HR domain knowledge.
The human resource (HR) profession has been identified by the government as a key strategic pillar for driving and building a future-ready workforce in Singapore. HR is seeing a shift in roles and responsibilities as it becomes even more strategic to businesses. Graduates can look forward to a rewarding career as a human resource generalist or specialist.You may pursue Human Resource Management as a single major or in combination with a minor.In addition to the professional knowledge provided in this programme, SUSS offers an Integrated Pathway programme to develop interdisciplinary skills within the aviation industry. This Integrated Pathway programme, through collaboration with the Singapore Flying College (SFC), supports students in obtaining a bachelor’s degree in this programme and acquiring a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) concurrently.

In addition to the financial aid schemes available to all students from the Singapore University of Social Sciences, there are study awards/grants which are open to Bachelor of Human Resource Management students. They are as follows:
Students are required to complete a total of 130 cu to graduate with a basic degree, inclusive of 20 cu of SUSS Core courses.
The breakdown of the cu to be completed is:

This programme is suitable for human resource professionals who are keen to acquire knowledge and competencies in key human resource functions, so as to understand, implement and develop meaningful human resource policies and practices that promote employee and organisational effectiveness in the modern workplace.

Bachelor of Human Resource Management with Minor graduates will be able to deliver and perform effectively in a variety of organisations, from start-ups to multi-nationals, not-for-profit to government organisations, as well as local and global companies.
